Step One: Offer synonyms and antonyms
Most current paraphrasing software includes a powerful thesaurus that provides users with various synonyms and antonyms when they paraphrase or summarize articles. The software works like an automatic dictionary, which is convenient and easy to use. Users can attain proper recommendations by clicking once, and selecting the appropriate expression.
Step Two: Change the sentence structures
Aside from selecting the substitutes for each word or phrase, the paraphrasing tools often help change the sentence structures. The algorithms are distinct among different software, although the results are similar. Some typical conversions of sentence patterns, such as "because..." and "... so," "result in" and "lead to," etc., can be offered in place.
Step Three: Cite the source materials
Most software does include step one and step two, but a few of them can also help users cite the source materials. This step seems useless, but it is actually the most important one to avoid plagiarism. Please add the references manually or with the help of some software if any, in order to complete your writing legally.
Even with the use of all kinds of tools, professional writing is more than an assembly of words. If one wants to write something really intriguing, let's spend some time polishing the skills.
