Wonder Team's discussion - Part 2 - How to satisfy user requirements?

What caused James Helm's headache was how to improve their User Interface properly. Expecting an excellent user experience, he gathered everyone. 

"Hi guys. We all know our target now. Robert and Thomas have done a great job updating the functions. And thanks to Joyce, we have a clear map of what our competitors do and what our customers want. But, one more thing! Actually, I want to present our efforts right in front of all users. Like working with a close friend, I hope all the users can use our software with ease and relax. Based upon years of experience, I promise you, what weighs the same as the powerful and practical functions in users' minds is the ease of usability. How many battles are lost in the confusion of complex options? So, let's take a little more time to think about a more friendly User Interface. Any problems?" started James.

Joyce apparently advocated James on this point. Compared to the other two's frowns, she smiled brightly. "Nope, I wanted to mention this in fact. Anyway, James got the point. According to all the feedback I have received so far, more than half asked for the tutorials or detailed guidelines about how to use our software." She added, and nodded at James meanwhile.

"Yes, you may be right. But is it necessary to add a budget for a specialized designer?" Thomas asked. He turned to James with a confused look.

"Of course, no need. This is just a simple update of our previous version, not a new event. In addition, our customers have already gotten used to the current style. What I mean doesn't merely refer to the design, but also to the way to satisfy users' requirements via logical coding. And this can be done by our cooperation!" James answered with a soft and determined tone. 

"Then, what should we do?" with no more talk around, Robert asked directly.

Wonder foundation - Part 1 - What made James Helm get a headache?

James Helm, who was an extraordinary programmer, is designated as a project manager for a challenging project. He is full of confidence with all the other promising team members even though he has been involved in several other projects apart from this new one, because he has been familiar with all the procedures based on his rich experience over the past ten years. Every team member within this team trusts him and contributes their efforts to reach the final goal. 

Robert Boat, a calm and smart programmer, already has a draft plan for the new software, which only needs further confirmation from the manager. He has just developed a game and received excellent feedback from his clients. As Robert's congenial partner, Thomas Mast always knows what he wants and perfects his job in the most efficient way. They have both worked together for more than three years and have completed several high-ranking software so far. 

As an excellent saleswoman, Joyce Sails is always responsive to clients no matter where she is and what time it is. During the past five years, she helped her clients solve thousands of issues and sold software worth over ten million dollars. Everyone likes her, as she always brings happiness wherever she goes. 

All four of them formed a team initially. They called this flexible, compact, and cohesive group "Wonder." What did they aim to do? Their job was to improve the old software, and earned more profits instead of developing a new one. 

According to the latest marketing results, other comparable products in the market possessed more practical functions and more intelligent user interfaces, along with the use of the newest techniques. After discussing over and over, James decided what the software would be and what techniques they would use, then drafted a schedule for everyone. 

The first challenge was that Robert Boat and Thomas Mast had to read and become familiar with the enormous amount of code before programming. To be honest, the original code, which was completed several years ago, was a bit old, even a little ancient, so the updating process was more difficult than writing a new one. However, they both had no choice but to modify the original code gradually in terms of the current users' experience.  Once the software was changed thoroughly, they had to take the risk of losing the current clients.

Simultaneously, Joyce Sails did comprehensive research on their competitors and gleaned as much feedback as possible from their current users. In order to maintain the old users, she focused on offering service while she extensively propagated the advantages of their new version.

As I forecasted previously, the newest version of SpinnerChief is under development and is going to be published soon! Cooperation is the key to achieving our final goal, especially when we all want a brilliant result. Everyone contributes his or her best efforts to perfecting the software. But how can we ensure that what we have developed is what our customers want? 

Firstly, the programmers in our current team are equipped with rich experience who worked for some global corporations such as Google before. Their sophisticated techniques enable the new AI. tech can be seamlessly used for our newest version, which greatly shortens the waiting time and guarantees the results' quality.

Along with the extraordinary programmers, our team also offers great testers to find possible errors for further improvement. Regular meetings are held to discuss the best solutions to the current problems. Everyone within our team owns the privilege of giving advice, so as to reach an efficient conclusion. 

As a responsive team, our sales and supporting staff know the customers' needs well, so that we all run in the same and right direction. They also build a bridge between our clients and us, passing on the valuable feedback to our development staff in time. Their efforts form the basis of our confidence in the upcoming software.

What's the most important role in our team? Definitely the project manager and our boss, who supervise all the procedures, take the helm and decide where we are going. For example, questions, like what the exact amount of money the budget is, how much time this project will take,  and what kind of specific functions will be updated, are all discussed by us, but decided by them. 

What else is attributed to the factors impacting the cycle of the new version's development are some unexpected urgent events like the sudden spread of an epidemic disease, the strike of a disaster, or the outbreak of a war. We have adjusted ourselves to adapt to the harsh and complex environment in order to reach our final target on time.

After several months' efforts, the new version of SpinnerChief is about to emerge! When the users are bored with the current procedures, an easier and faster optimized way is presented ahead of us. AI., which is the one we are all familiar with, has been polished for the new functions, shining even brighter than ever before.

Basically, the new paraphraser is more powerful in terms of diverse aspects. The various changes in the sentence structure enrich the paraphrases. Like a manual paraphrase, the new process deals with different sentences by referring to the rules of syntax. The new sentence structures, built upon proper alternative clauses or phrases, also present good examples for writing, which makes the users' writing processes easier and faster. Besides, the optimized algorithm for the replacement of synonyms and antonyms enables a huge number of paraphrases immediately. The most charming part, to all users, may be the friendly user interface, which makes our software new and brilliant.
